SolarCity commissions 2.4 GW solar-plus-storage mega-project

SolarCity Energy Trust has commissioned a 2.4 GW solar-plus-storage facility, instantly becoming one of the largest renewable assets in the western hemisphere. The project is expected to power 1.6 million homes and offset 4.8 million tons of CO2 annually.
